The BBC’s longest serving freelance foreign correspondent, David has reported on Italy and the Vatican for over half a century. For 15 years, he lived in the former Torlonia Museum of Antique Sculpture, home to one of the world's most important collections of ancient statuary. Unseen by the public for 80 years, a new exhibition at Rome's Capitoline Museum will display 100 pieces from 14 October 2020.
